Demonstration against Covance's history of animal abuse When: April 26, time TBA Where: Life Science Building, Southern and Dobson Campus Contact: Mimi, datteravzion@gmail.com Details:
Local activist will be organizing a demonstration outside Mesa Community College's Biotechnology Symposium. Rafiq Islam, Ph.D., Associate Director Immunochemistry Services at Covance Labs will be speaking along with others on April 26. Covance [www.covancecruelty.com]―has been cited by the USDA for putting animals in cages that are too small, and for yelling, hitting, and using unnecessary force on primates (I am still working with this activist on a specific time―the conference is 8:30a-2p but she will be there for only about an hour. As I get more information in the next few days I will send it your way)
