Target: Screening, "Earthlings" When: April 21, 2009 10am-1pm Where: To Be Determined Contact: Lana Smithson, lanas@tampabay.rr.com Comments: FVA will join In Defense of Animals during World Week for Animals in Laboratories (WWAIL) to speak out against the abhorrent use of animals in testing and research. Many people have no clue that innocent animals live their lives pumped full of chemicals, have their organs removed/manipulated, are left devoid of pain killers so researchers can monitor how intense their pain is, are burned to test treatments, addicted to narcotics, ALL in the name of improving humans quality of life - even when NINETY TWO PERCENT of what they learn from other animals DOES NOT occur in humans! JOIN US AND GET THE WORD OUT! Suggested Parking: From Fowler, turn onto campus via Leroy Collins Blvd., after Alumni Drive, you will pass the Library (they one you're to meet at) on your right. Turn right into Elm Drive/Road - parking garage on the left [first floor in the back is for visitors - MUST HAVE CREDIT/DEBIT CARD TO PAY FOR PARKING] 2 hours = $3 (i think) Campus map: http://usfweb2.usf.edu
