What: World Week for Animals in Labs Demo When: Thursday, April 22nd @ 4pm - 6pm Where: Rosen Building (960 Republican St) Seattle, WA. Contact: If you would like more information, please contact Rachel@narn.org. Comments: This year we will be focusing on the work that occurs inside of the Washington National Primate Research Center's primate genomics lab. Scientists recognize that monkeys are not very good models when it comes to studying diseases that afflict human primates, so they are spending millions of tax payer dollars to try and create "better research models". http://www.macaque.org/ We have a number of events planned in addition to Thursday's demo.
